Now that you’re read a bit of what Jojo has to say, why not check out her dancing? This is her and Dax Hock demonstrating the Tranky Doo - a dance loaded with classic vernacular jazz steps. How many can you name?

That’s really cool! What a fun dance! I’m pretty sure I saw parts of the Shim Sham and also the Big Apple in there…

Yes, there were steps that happen in the Shim Sham and the Big Apple! Good eye. Many of the vernacular jazz steps are found in many different dances. Do you know any names of the moves?

do you notice how Dax and JoJo seem to just glide while doing this dance?

I watched this when you first posted it, but I was just watching it again because I’m choreographing a solo swing dance and I needed more moves! Garry is right, Dax and JoJo do the dance so smoothly. I love their shorty georges! I don’t know the names of all their moves, but I sure got some to put in my dance!
